I tried this on my noon walk. It was cold and only two joggers and an elderly walker passed. I got eye contact with each and said “you look like you could use a high five”. One of the joggers responded and laughed. The other sort of looked at me like she was confused and the walker gave me a strange look.
Something for warmer weather, but definitely something to try!
