Does this new technorati tag creator only work if one uses Firefox or Greasemonkey? I'm using Netscape...but would love the ability to add tags to my blog posts... (Still learning all this stuff...)

Yes, you are exactly right. It works for people who have Firefox and have installed the Greasemonkey extension.
