Kismet: Social Networking Software Connections
I just have to link to Beth's post, Funny Social Networking Software Connections .... It was one of those moments of connection this morning, that just makes me smile. The connections here are amazing and until we all Skyped this morning, not all of them were visible.
As a bit of context, I'm spending a couple of days with a group of women who have been working/playing together to explore how technology can support the World Cafe global community. We always have fun and are productive together! We were doing a little Skype demo and I saw Beth online and pulled her in. (I'll be seeing Beth F2F tomorrow.) I wanted Beth to know Juanita and Tree (here at our gathering) would be at her Brain Jams session next week at the NCDD conference. Little did I know the Brain Jam uses World Cafe process. See... all these amazing conversation.
Now we are going to talk about Web 2.0 and tagging. Gotta turn off the computer and pay attention in the room.

And were it not for Nancy, Beth and I would not have met in Boston . . . and Beth would not be sharing leadership of the NCDD Blog, and having far too much fun planning the BrainJam with Chris Heuer.
And were it not for Nancy, Beth and I wouldn't have met in Boston, I wouldn't have Beth as my blogging sidekick for NCDD, and she and I would not be having far too much fun planning the BrainJam with Chris Heuer. Serendipty rules!
