Learning through interaction
Dan Jones shared this great expression on the KM4Dev list: "PS In Bahasa Indonesia people say 'socialisasi' which means to make people aware of something through interaction - I've always wished there was an English equivalent!"
The comment was in a thread about making sense of knowledge sharing and knowledge management terms across languages.Tags:

thanks for this word. . . I think it is spelled sosialisasi. . .
"to make people aware of something through interaction". . . what a complex thought, summed in one word.
It evokes, for me, thoughts about collective intelligence and the emergence of increasingly conscious systems.
Nancy, I am tantalized by your hints of blog posts to come. You seem to be in a very fine space just now. Your writing has been quite fine lately. I can't wait to hear everything you have to say.
Terry Seamon wrote a post about the use of the English word "socialize" in the same or similar context. I had not heard it used that way before, and I've started dropping it into discussions in my role as a project manager.
Terry's post:

sosialisasi. . .
"to make people aware of something through interaction".
Extraordinary find given the article on "connected intelligence" we are trying to close.
And of course "learning through interaction" underlies it.
